Mater-Bi®

Lecce Eco pens are made from a revolutionary new material, Mater-Bi.

Mater-Bi is a bioplastic, developed by Novamont and is derived from corn starch. It is a 100%
biodegradable composting material.

The composting process starts after 90 days and takes approximately 9 months, during which time
the raw materials are naturally returned to the earth without leaving any metals or toxic residue.

Mater-Bi reduces greenhouse gas emissions, and the consumption of energy and non-renewable
resources, and completes a natural cycle.

Lecce Eco pens are made from 100% Mater-Bi.
No PP or ABS plastic additives are used in any of
the components.

The Eco pen springs and refills are recyclable.
